Catecholamines are naturally secreted molecules in the body derived from the amino acid tyrosine containing catechol and amine groups. Some of them are biogenic amines. The most abundant catecholamines are epinephrine (adrenaline, A), norepinephrine (noradrenaline, NA) and dopamine (DA). They are important markers for the diagnosis and management of tumor diseases of the sympathoadrenal system.
AFFINIMIP® Catecholamines are selective solid phase extraction cartridges that selectively clean and concentrate a broad range of catecholamines prior to analysis by HPLC.
